Description

This color postcard features the Lincoln Room at the Vermilion County Museum in Danville, Illinois. The museum is housed in a home built by pioneer physician William Fithian, who became a close friend of Abraham Lincoln when they both served in the Illinois State Legislature. The room shown includes the actual bed in which Lincoln slept when staying with Dr. Fithian. The postcard reverse is divided with the caption printed on the left side.
