Description

This color postcard features a view of the Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln granite statue located in front of the Gateway Technical Institute at Racine, Wisconsin. Created by sculptor Frederick C. Hibbard and dedicated in 1943, the statue depicts President Lincoln seated with his wife standing next to him. Both appear to be dressed for a formal occasion. The postcard reverse is divided and has narrative text printed on the left side. The number 801150 is printed along the bottom edge near the middle.
