The text below the image reads "On a snowy day in December of 1854, Abraham Lincoln talks with his ministers Dr. James Smith of the First Presbyterian Church. This church is on the southeast corner of Third and Washington Streets in Springfield, Illinois. Lincoln carries Dr. Smith's book, 'The Christians Defense,' which he has studied."
