- Typewritten letter, 20 cm, on Pullman Building, Chicago letterhead, addressed to Charles Marseilles, Exeter, New Hampshire, signed by Robert T. Lincoln. Letter in response to a photograph that Marseilles described as being Abraham Lincoln sharpening a pencil for his youngest son, Tad. He asks if instead it is the photo of his father and Tad looking at a photograph album. Marseilles had also made a request for timber from one of A. Lincoln's homes that Lincoln declines with an explanation.
