Description

The folder titled "First Day of Issue The Abraham Lincoln Stamp of the American Credo Series, November 19, 1960, New York, New York, at the 12th National Postage Stamp Show of the American Stamp Dealers' Association on the front cover opens to feature two of the four-cent Lincoln Credo Stamps. At the top of page three of the folder is an uncancelled stamp pasted within a black line rectangular border. Below within a larger black line rectangular border simulating the size of an envelope in the top right corner is another four-cent Lincoln Credo stamp that has been postmarked with a "First Day of Issue" and "New York Nov. 19, 1960, 9:00 A.M. postmark. On page two of the folder is introductory text concerning the American Credo Series of stamps. Page four of the folder features an enlarged black and white reproduction of the stamp with information about the quotation used on the Lincoln Credo Stamp.
