Printed land grant form, 24 x 39 cm, filled in, Kansas Trust Lands, Certificate No. 14, signed "Abraham Lincoln by W. O. Stoddard, secy" and "J N Granger, Commissioner of the General Land Office" and dated May10, 1861. Grants Benjamin Luce "a Lot of land designated on the Official Plat of Survey as the Block numbered Fourteen, in the Town of Lattaville in the Delaware Trust Cession and subject to sale at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas," upon his full payment having been made "according to the provisions of the Treaty with the Delaware Tribe of Indians concluded on the sixth day of May 1854." Recorded, Vol. 10, page 497. Docketed on verso: "U.S. to Benjamin Luce, State of Kansas - Leavenworth County. Filed April 9, 1861 at 10/20 o'clock a.m. and duly recorded in my office in Book 'J' of Patents[?] at page 444. A. C.[?] Keller, Register of Deeds. To be delivered to M. E. Clark."
