This print is the official proclamation by the governor of Massachusetts setting aside February 12, 1939, to be observed as Lincoln Day "and request its suitable observance by all our people, by exercises in our schools, and by the display of the national flag, with the suggestion that our churches mark the occasion by suitable services on the actual day of the anniversary."
