Description

This lithograph is plate one in a series of six anti-Lincoln cartoon prints originally drawn in 1864. This print features Abraham Lincoln wearing a long-tailed tuxedo jacket with white vest and neck tie. He walks with his right foot extended and his left hand raised, patting his own head. Text surrounds him and reads, "This Little Joker for President. Jas. Abraham Lincoln Crow, who every time he turned about did just so. And when he was the president of these United States, Lic'd lasses-candy, told jokes, and swung upon the Gates." The print is again titled across the bottom margin.
