Description
This gray-toned print depicts George Washington and Abraham Lincoln inside a domestic scene. Washington is on the PR side wearing a black suit, black boots, and a white shirt. His PR hand holds a book upright on a covered table. Lincoln is on the PL side wearing a black jacket with one button clasped, black pants, a white collared shirt, and black bowtie. His PL hand is resting on a paper that sits on the table, and his PR hand clasps a scroll. To his PL in the background, we can see another covered table. In the PR background are a couple columns framing a hallway. Underneath the covered table are books that spill out and topple over into the foreground. This print is a smaller version of 71.2009.081.1425.
