This black and white poster features the text of President Abraham Lincoln's speech at the dedication ceremony for the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on November 19, 1863. Above the text are three photographic reproductions which are from left to right, Lincoln's birthplace cabin; President Lincoln taken in Washington, D. C., on February 9, 1864; and the 1861-1865 White House. Below the images are the title, the text printed in script on a scroll background, a Confederate company's battlefield implements to the viewer's left, and a Union company's implements to the viewer's right of the text.
