Description

The print features a bearded Abraham Lincoln seated at a three quarter view with his head turned slightly to his left. Lincoln wears a dark jacket and vest, along with a white collared shirt and black bow tie. Only the bust of Lincoln is shown, and the image appears to fade as it descends down the paper. There is the slight use of shadow above both of Lincoln's shoulders. The words "Abraham Lincoln, The Nations [sic] Martyr." appear below the image, with "Assassinated April 14th 1865." just below that. Publication information is at the bottom of the page.
