This print is the official proclamation by the governor of Massachusetts setting aside February 12, 1929, to be observed as Lincoln Day "and earnestly urge that the day be properly observed in the homes, schools, and churches, as well as by other organizations of the Commonwealth, so that our people may have a growing appreciation of the service which Lincoln rendered and the contribution which he made to our Country's life and security."
