Description

This color lithograph features the head and shoulders portraits of the members of the Hutchinson Family Singers who performed in the mid 1800s in the eastern half of the United States. Known as the "Tribes of John and Jesse" pictured are John W. Hutchinson in the center, then clockwise from the top left corner are Mrs. Lillie Phillips Hutchinson, Henry J. Hutchinson, Mrs. Fannie B. Hutchinson, Miss Jenniebelle Neal, Charles Albert Shaw (Manager), Isaac Littlefield, and Miss Florence Holmes. Various symbols of the performing arts are placed decoratively around the images. The copyright information is at the bottom center of the images and the publisher's information is in the lower margin just below the bottom right corner of the image.
