Description
This political hand-colored lithograph depicts both President Abraham Lincoln and Vice-President Andrew Johnson from the shoulders up, framed by ovals of evergreen garland. The two portraits are located in the center of the print; flags and an eagle fill the top of the composition; and a statue of Justice flanked by two cornucopias filled with wheat, manufactured goods, and armaments make up the bottom of the composition. The background depicts a landscape with a train on the left and the sea and a ship on the right. The words, "Abraham Lincoln. Andrew Johnson. President and Vice-President," are printed across the bottom of the paper. Part of The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
