Description

a) Set of 35 sterling silver medals commemorates the presidents of the United States from George Washington, 1789-1797, chronologically through Lyndon B. Johnson, 1963-1969. Each 26mm medal features a portrait of the President with his name above and the dates of service in the White House below. The reverse has the President's name, birth and death dates, and a statement about the years in office. The 35 medals are contained in a navy-blue, felt-lined hardboard display box designed to look like a book with gilt edges. The hinged top opens like a book cover and has the president seal stamped in gold-colored ink in the center within a gold-colored, stamped, decorative, rectangular border . b) Certificate of Authenticity c) Richard M.
