Description

This color postcard features the Assembly Room of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4, 1776, and the Constitutional Convention sat between May 14 and September 17, 1787. The postcard reverse is divided and has narrative text printed on the left side. A handwritten note in pencil reads "Room where Lincoln [illegible]."
