Description

Print features twelve vignettes depicting Confederate President Jefferson Davis and the southern system of slavery he supported. Vignettes include: 1) a door to a slave pen; 2) bales of cotton; 3) slaves picking cotton; 4) a slave driver whipping a slave; and more. The title of the print is a play on the nursery rhyme, "The House that Jack Built."
