Description

This linen postcard features illustrations of President Abraham Lincoln, the birthplace log cabin, and the Lincoln Memorial building which houses the birthplace cabin. The head and shoulders portrait of President Lincoln is at the center top, with the Memorial Building near the lower left corner, and the birthplace cabin near the lower right corner. Lincoln's birth and death dates and locations are printed on either side of the portrait near the top. "Hodgenville, Ky." is printed in script between the two building illustrations all on a blue background. The number KE 6 is printed in the upper left corner. The postcard reverse is divided with narrative text printed on the left side. Also on the left side is a typewritten message from Mrs. W. E. Bach of Lexington, Kentucky, to Dr. Louis A.
