Description

This postcard is a photograph of a wooded site with an arrow pointing to an object on the ground. A handwritten caption is printed on the lower half of the image reading: "By C. Bever, June, 1931. Remains of cistern by log school house site. Is said Mr. Redmond Grigsby, in the school house 1870s during a rain storm, told his grandson Eli, 'Remember budy Abraham Lincoln went to school here.' 1-3/4 south of Lincoln City, Ind."
