The three men all wear dark jackets, white collared shirts, and black bow ties. There is a red chair in front of Lincoln's desk, and a fireplace with a clock and large mirror on the mantle. A chandelier hangs in the upper right corner of the print, and a bookshelf stands off to the left of the fireplace with a portrait of President Andrew Jackson on the wall above it. A window is directly behind Lincoln, and has burgundy draperies with green and gold tassels. The artist's signature, "J. Johnson" is writtein in the lower right corner of the print. "President Lincoln Keeps Union Shipping Under Sail - 1864" is printed below the print in the lower left corner. b) This small insert gives a description of the print.
