Description
This colorful, calligraphic print features the illuminated text of President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address delivered on November 19, 1863, at the dedication of the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The text is divided into two equal parts with a portrait of President Lincoln between them. A colorful decorative border surrounds the text and portrait. The border also includes patriotic symbols and small illustrations of Lincoln related sites including the White House, the Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Lincoln family home in Springfield, Illinois. A narrow gold border surrounds the whole print. The original artwork was done in 1941 by Ed Gentile. The copyright information is stamped in black ink on the reverse.
