This print is a reproduction of one of only two known copies of President Abraham Lincoln's Second Inaugural address printed before his assassination on April 14, 1865. The original broadside (GLC 6044) is in The Gilder Lehrman Collection on deposit at the Pierpont Morgan Library. The address is presented in two columns below the title. The reproduction was published as a keepsake by The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History on the occasion of the Tenth Lincoln Prize awarded by The Lincoln and Soldiers Institute of Gettysburg College on April 18, 2000.
