Description

Chromolithograph depicts the capture of New Orleans. The print features a night scene with several different types of vessels--namely a wooden ship at center--firing cannons at each other. A ship in the left foreground has sunk. The sky is dark and clouded with smoke and is punctuated by fireballs.
