Description

This color print features a bearded Abraham Lincoln positioned at a three quarter view with his body turned slightly to his left. His head is bowed down. Lincoln wears a dark jacket, white collared shirt, and black bow tie. Only the bust of Lincoln is shown. There is an enlaged clock behind Lincoln with Roman numerals. The clock's hands are positioned at 7:22, the time Lincoln died the morning of April 15, 1865. The artist's signature "Richard Cardiff" is written just above Lincoln's left shoulder.
