Description

This photographic print features a bearded Abraham Lincoln seated at a three quarter view; his head and eyes are aligned with his body. Lincoln wears a dark jacket, vest, and pants, along with a white collared shirt and black bow tie. The chain of a pocket watch is attached to the second button of the vest, while the rest of the chain and the watch itself are tucked behind the left side of Lincoln's jacket. His left forearm is tilted on its side while resting on the arm of the chair while his left hand is slightly open. His right arm rests flat on the arm of the chair with his hand resting between the inside arm of the chair and his leg. This print appears to be a somewhat closer view of print (71.2009.081.1509).
