Description

This print features a beardless Abraham Lincoln positioned at a three quarter view while looking at the viewer. Lincoln wears a dark jacket and white collared shirt with a black bow tie. A dark vest is barely visible. '"The Picture that made me President": - Abraham Lincoln' is printed below the image, with the following just below that: "FROM the original photography by M.B. Brady, in the collection of Oliver R. Barrett, and was reproduced by courtesy of the owner. This picture was taken February 27th. 1860, at the time of the famous Cooper Union speech in New York and was the one used on buttons, badges and banners in the Presidential campaign of 1860."
