Description

This postcard features an illustration of the log cabin where Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in Hardin County, Kentucky. The cabin is pictured in the lower left corner. An outline of a statue of President Lincoln standing in front of his chair is in the top left corner. To the right of the cabin is an illustration of a farmer walking behind a horse-drawn plow while another man chops wood. The caption and a Lincoln quotation fill most of the top half of the image. The whole image appears to have been cut from another publication and pasted to a blank postcard. The postcard reverse is divided. The number 687 is printed in the lower left corner.
