Description

This lithograph features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done after a photograph taken of him on March 6, 1865, in Washington, D. C. He is depicted facing the viewer with his head turned slightly toward the viewer's right. The cord of his eyeglasses which are tucked into his jacket pocket is visible across the front of his white shirt. The portrait is surrounded by an oval, double-line border.
