Description

This litho-chrome postcard printed in Germany features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln. It is done from a photograph taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C., eleven days before he traveled to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to deliver his address at the dedication ceremony for the National Cemetery there. The postcard reverse is divided.
