Description

This print features the text of an address by Mayor of Boston, James M. Curley, delivered at Massachusetts Tree Planting Exercises, Lincoln Memorial Reservation in Washington, D. C., on May 4, 1923. The text is surrounded by a decorative rectangular border printed in a light orange color. At the top of the border in the center is a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln in a decorative oval frame of olive branches. The words of the title are printed on both sides of the portrait. In the center of the left side of the border is photograph of Lincoln's birthplace cabin in an oval line frame. In the center of the right side of the border is a photograph of the Lincoln memorial in Washington, D. C., in an oval line frame. In the center of the bottom of the border is a photograph of the White House in an oval line frame with olive branches extending to each side.
