Description

This stamp collector's album includes two albums in the same binder, the first of which was published in 1959 and the second in 1960. The 1959 album includes the title page and 25 leaves for Lincoln stamps issued in 1958 and 1959 in the United States as well as other countries. The second album includes the title page and 20 leaves for Lincoln stamps issued in the United States and other countries from 1909 through 1960. Each leaf, printed on one side only, has a black line box into which the Lincoln stamp, stamp block, souvenir sheet, or first day cover is to be pasted. Most pages also have black and white illustrations of the stamps to be collected and explanatory text. The leaves in the 1959 album are almost all completed with the stamps, stamp blocks, souvenir sheets, or first day covers. None of the leaves in the 1960 album have been completed. The three-ring binder holding the two stamp collector's albums is title "Honoring Abraham Lincoln" in green ink on the front and the spine.
