Description
Maroon wool cloth fragment features a tightly-woven loop pile. The cloth is pinned to a piece of a paper (now yellowed) with the following handwritten in pencil: "From Lincoln's special car during the war." Part of the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
