Description

Pair of cream-colored leather gloves features three decorative lines of thread on the back of each glove. A metal clasp on the inside of the wrist secures the glove. These gloves are alleged to have been found in the presidential box at Ford's Theatre the night of Lincoln's assassination. It is also said that there are blood stains on the gloves probably from Major Rathbone who was wounded when trying to detain Booth from escaping the box.
