Description
Dark gray or black metallic piece of fabric. There is a scalloped design on the long edges and white fringe on both ends. A note accompanying the artifact reads: "metallic braid from the black velvet pall upon which Abraham Lincoln's casket rested when he was placed in tomb at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois, in 1865."
