Scrap of pieced silk American flag features two white stripes, one red stripe, and a swatch of blue on one end. A piece of paper included with the flag reads: "This is part of the silk flag that draped the Presidential box the night of April 14, 1865; the night President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated."
