Description
Rectangle piece of large weave towel measuring 4.50 x 3.25". Piece of towel has numerous areas stained with orangish brown spots. The edges of the rectangle piece of towel are roughly cut. The piece of towel is attached to a piece of paper board with a gold lined oval center where the piece of towel is attached. Directly below the piece of towel and still within the oval center, there is hand written text that reads, "A piece of a towel stained with the blood of A.Lincoln, President of the U.States assassinated April the 14th, 1865 at Ford's Theatre Washington."
