Description:: View 1 of 7/8 x 1 x 1/4 inch (closed) gold book locket with nine 3/8 x 5/8 inch photographs; six photographs and three photographs of engravings, enclosed in oval frames with three pairs of photographs enclosed back-to-back and three frames empty; frames hinged together and accordion-folded, with bracket and decorative front and back covers, all hinged together, with fastener. Photographs in View 1 are (l to r): Winfield Scott, George B. McClellan, Irvin McDowell, John C. Frémont, William S. Rosecrans, Ambrose E. Burnside. Side 2 is item LFA-0576v.
