Description

This is a piece of sheet music for the song, “Dixie’s Land.” The cover is plain with, “I Wish I was in Dixie’s Land” printed in decorative lettering at the center. “Written & Composed expressly for Bryant’s Minstrels” is printed below the title. Publishing information is printed near the bottom of the cover. First known as the national anthem of the Confederacy but later became well loved in the Union after Abraham Lincoln made it known to be a favorite of his.
