Description
This is a piece of sheet music for the song, "President Lincoln's Grand March." The cover has a color lithographed illustration of Abraham Lincoln surrounded by an oval gold frame on top of a brown pedestal. The frame is draped on the left side with an American flag. There is an illustration of a woman holding a piece of the flag, wheat and a scythe at the left of the frame and a woman holding a sword and shield standing at the right of the frame. They are identified as Peace and War, respectively. The title is printed in decorative black and white lettering with a blue "G" in Grand and a red "M" in March. "Respectfully Dedicated to the Union Army by F.B. Helmsmuller" is printed below the image on a red background. Near the bottom of the cover, F. B.
