Description

This postcard features an illustration of a Boy Scout in uniform standing with his pack on the ground looking at the American flag. An eagle is depicted in flight beneath the flag. Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are depicted behind the Boy Scout. A message to the right of the illustration reads: "Lincoln National Life Foundation Ft. Wayne Indiana. Gentlemen: Please send us about 300 copies of the 1944 souvernir picture of Lincoln for distribution to Scouts and Cubs who attend our Fifth Lincoln Pilgrimage in Redlands, Feb. 12 1944. Please ship to Bernard M. Harlan, Asst. Scout Executive 347 Orange Street, Redlands, Ca. Thanks. Sincerely Carl N. Helmich, Scout Executive, 3388 7th St., Riversid, Calif."
