Description
This sepia-toned postcard features a half-length portrait of President Abraham Lincoln along with a quotation from his letter to Horace Greeley, August 22, 1862. The portrait is reproduced from a photograph taken of President Lincoln on January 8, 1864, in Washington, D. C. A small illustration of a log cabin is in the upper right corner. A small illustration of the White House is in the lower right corner with the quotation printed between the illustrations. The postcard reverse is divided.
