This postcard features a reproduction of a photograph of President Abraham Lincoln taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C., ten days before he traveled to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to give his address at the dedication of the National Cemetery there. The caption and biographical text are printed in the margin below the image. The postcard reverse is divided.
