Description
This colored postcard features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln on a patriotic shield. The quotation "You can fool part of the people some of the time and some of the people part of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time" is divided into four lines on each side of the portrait. This quotation was not original to President Lincoln. The postcard reverse is divided. "Series No. 1222 Lincoln Birthday 6 Designs" is printed along the left edge.
