Description
This colored postcard features a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln surrounded by a patriotic eagle, olive branches, patriotic shields, and a sword with an olive branch wrapped in red, white, and blue ribbon. To the right of the portrait is a quotation from President Lincoln's response to a serenade for him on November 10, 1864, two days after he was re-elected for a second term in office. The postcard reverse is divided. "Series No. 1222 Lincoln Birthday 6 Designs" is printed along the left edge.
