Description

This linen postcard features a view of the Virginia State Capitol Building located in Richmond, Virginia. Finished in 1789, it was in this building where Aaron Burr was tried for treason in 1807. The two side wings were added in 1906. The caption is printed along the lower edge of the image. The postcard card reverse is divided and has narrative text printed on the left side.
