Description

This postcard features a view of the Little Pigeon Creek in Spencer County in southern Indiana near the location of Abraham Lincoln's boyhood home. A wooden bridge spans the creek. The caption is printed near the lower edge of the image. The postcard reverse is undivided and has a handwritten note in pencil from O. V. Brown of Dale, Indiana, to Dr. Louis A. Warren of Fort Wayne, Indiana, giving the date as Jan. 8, 1935. The Dale, Indiana, postmark is dated Jan. 9, 1835.
