Description
This color postcard features the right side of the face of Abraham Lincoln carved into the granite front of Mount Rushmore by sculptor Gutzon Borglum and his son. A park ranger in uniform can be seen standing beside the face with his left hand extended toward the corner of the mouth. According to the caption, a man six feet tall can stand in Lincoln's eye. The postcard reverse is divided. The caption is printed on the left side. A brief handwritten note in ink from Fred Weiser to Gerald McMurtry of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is on the left side.
