Description
This color postcard features the bronze statue of young Abraham Lincoln as a Congressman by sculptor Sidney Loeb unveiled in 1976 located near Ramat Gan theater in Israel, The statue was a gift from the American people to the people of Israel in celebration of the United States Bicentennial. The inscription on the base of the statue reads "With malice towards none, with charity for all. Let us strive...for a just and lasting peace amongst ourselves and with all nations. Abraham Lincoln, 1809-1865" The postcard reverse is divided. Narrative text in both Hebrew and English. The number 14518 is printed along the bottom edge near the middle.
