Description

This postcard features an illustration of a young Abraham Lincoln studying by firelight in a log cabin. Lincoln is depicted stretched out on a blanket on the floor in front of the fireplace with a book in his hands. A woman, possibly is stepmother, is seated on a chair behind him. This is one of a series of twenty postcards with illustrations featuring events which occurred during the life of President Lincoln. The postcard reverse is divided.
