Description

This color postcard features a view of a field of corn growing in the Knob Creek Valley in Kentucky. Abraham Lincoln, his parents, and his sister lived on a farm along Knob Creek from 1811 to 1816. The image is surrounded by a pale yellow border with the caption and the number 72-D-5 printed in the lower margin. The postcard reverse is divided with narrative text printed on the left side.
